Thigh lift surgery is an operation which reduces the skin excess usually on the inner upper thighs.
The operation, when part of weight loss surgery, may also involve the outer thigh region.
The procedure is done under general anaesthetic, may occasionally be a day case, and may be combined with other surgical procedures.
The surgical wound, on the inner upper thigh in the groin region, does not usually cause problems early on, and patients can return to normal activities fairly soon after plastic surgery.

As restrictions have eased a little, I am happy to be able to see patients again. Clinics are opening at the One Hospital Ashford and the Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury.
Waiting times for new consultations may be longer than usual but I am working on this. Surgery space is still restricted as the NHS still has the use of the private hospitals. However things are changing all the time.
