Home » Breast Uplift Mastopexy
As with all surgery, there are many important considerations which we will need to discuss together.
A breast uplift may involve an amount of breast volume reduction, or may involve the use of breast implants.
The procedure is done under a general anaesthetic and involves a one-night stay in hospital.
Generally patients get back to normal over the first 1 to 2 weeks, but return to exercise may take longer.
The scaring, which is usually good, and areas of numbness, are the price you pay for an improvement in breast shape, size and symmetry.
As restrictions have eased a little, I am happy to be able to see patients again. Clinics are opening at the One Hospital Ashford and the Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury.
Waiting times for new consultations may be longer than usual but I am working on this. Surgery space is still restricted as the NHS still has the use of the private hospitals. However things are changing all the time.
