Home » Brachioplasty
Brachioplasty or excision of skin and fatty tissue from under the arms is performed under general anaesthetic.
This can be as a day case or one night stay in hospital.
The surgery results in a scar which runs from the armpit towards or to the elbow.
The early discomfort of the operation lasts for between 2 and 3 weeks.
As restrictions have eased a little, I am happy to be able to see patients again. Clinics are opening at the One Hospital Ashford and the Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury.
Waiting times for new consultations may be longer than usual but I am working on this. Surgery space is still restricted as the NHS still has the use of the private hospitals. However things are changing all the time.
