Blepharoplasty and headaches

Blepharoplasty and headaches

I am always going on about this procedure, because I think it is great!

Let me tell you about a gentleman I have  just seem for follow-up.

He had a minor “stroke” a while back and made a full recovery.

He did however have severe ongoing headaches, and was investigated for this with CT scans and visits to the neurologists.

He came to me wanting an opinion on an upper lid blepharoplasty. Some people, with heavy brows and heavy eyelid skin excess, continually raise their foreheads in an attempt to raise their eyebrows and thereby improve their hooded vision. This can cause strain and headaches.

I saw him today 6 weeks after his blepharoplasty: no headaches at all. He is thrilled.
